"I don't need anything else. Just knowing how you feel is enough."
Lenne
- access: Pearl
- adopted in May 2008
- game character
- shrine included, in good shape
Lenne is a key cast of Final Fantasy X-2, Square-Enix's most celebrated RPG in year 2003. Despite having only fourteen lines in the entire game, Lenne's character is extremely important to X-2's main plot and her presence can be felt throughout X-2. She's my favorite character in X-2 alongside a certain eye-patched blondie, and one of my favorite Final Fantasy girls of all time. Guess whose love for NPCs is endless.
Pearl is a project I've wanted to work on for the longest time. There used to be about a dozen Lenne tributes during the first two years X-2 came out in North America, but more and more webmasters seem to have lost interest in shrine-making these days, which makes me all kinds of sad. Thanks be, I happen to have a lot to say about X-2's beautiful songstress in spite of her extreme lack of screentime, which you can now find as valendia.org's very first character tribute, or my first game character tribute in history. That's quite some accomplishment if you ask me.
Critic's choice
Lenne's theme song, 1000 Words, was sung by Kumi Koda in Japanese and Sweetbox in English. Here you'll find some elaborated tracks of the original 1000 Words, including a DJ 19 Remix, an orchestra version and a piano solo. I also uploaded Vegnagun Activates from X-2 OST, which was used in various X-2 commercials and trailers back in the day, most of which featured Shuyin and Lenne's last moment together.
