Isuzu, or Rin for short, is a somewhat minor but nonetheless important character in Japanese manga Fruits Basket. She doesn't make an appearance in the anime due to lack of episodes, but for the limited amount of time she appeared in the manga, she was able to become one of my favorite female characters of all time. Her clumsy kindness, her painful past, her harsh but caring words... it's simply hard to take your eyes off this character. I shall always remember how touched I was when I first read Rin's life story: to love someone so deeply without looking back is a type of courage many of us happen to lack these days.

This is the first fanlisting I've ever applied for at the fanlisting networks - before TAFL was even established. It was also the first character shrine I've ever opened (closed later when my priority switched a bit) and I'm hoping to revive the content one of these days.
