Shinigami (Soul Reaper) Women's Association, or SWA for short, is probably the biggest comic relief in Bleach the manga and anime. In a nutshell, SWA was founded and led by the top-class ladies of Gotei 13, whose ultimate goal is to improve the life quality of all female soul reapers. There's also an organization of the similar kind for male soul reapers, though the latter proves to be as disorganized (and overly serious!) as the members themselves.

Ever since the end of Soul Society arc, I've been under the impression that Bleach would never be the same exciting series again, but Kubo's brilliant idea of a women's assembly among soul reapers totally erased my gloom: they are made of oh-so much cracky awesome! Not only do we get to learn the true faces of many soul reapers off-battlefield, there's also plenty of fan service for readers who crave after details: "top-secret files" about the life of Gotei 13 members, Seireitei's exclusive shopping catalogue, literature ranking among female soul reapers... there's no end to SWA's big party of doom, to the dismay of many young Seireitei men. (laugh)
