The beautiful and caring Captain Unohana is one of the most mysterious characters in Bleach. Kubo has never given us much information about her, except the fact that she seems to be a senior to most soul reapers - it was revealed in chapter -107 that Unohana is one of the few captains who had been a part of Gotei 13 since it was founded - and possibly the most powerful healer in Soul Society. Frankly, I have a natural liking for healer characters in most RPGs I play: such has probably influenced my preference in anime/manga these days as well.

Captain Unohana is your super-mom type of natural charisma, someone you'd easily take notice of even in big crowds. Every move she makes speaks of quiet authority: you can always count on her at a time of crisis, but don't you dare break a rule in any of her hospitals. Unohana is basically kind to everyone in need, even enemies, which makes her an ideal doctor everywhere she goes. She's also one of the most observant figures in Soul Society, who knows exactly what to see and who to help at all times. In short, I'm really looking forward to seeing her in bigger action one of these days.
