Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings is the direct sequel to Final Fantasy XII. Released under Nintendo DS, this game is much more light-hearted than its mother installment and gives players the impression of "a beginner's Final Fantasy".

Revenant Wings is my favorite "subway time" Final Fantasy. Because its difficulty level is nowhere near that of the "main" Final Fantasies, I was able to enjoy it everywhere I went, which breaks the norm of FF series for me overall: I can now meet my favorite characters in Ivalice without having a TV by my side! That really means a lot to gamers like me, who doesn't have access to a big screen very often but still wishes to play a Final Fantasy thoroughly.
